Nova POS

Sales, stock, customer credit and accounts for shops, pharmacies and mobile phone stores. Keeps selling when the internet is down and syncs when it is back.

Nova POS (sold in Dari as Asan Business, آسان بزنس) puts a shop's sales, purchases, stock, customer credit and profit in one place, on the shop computer and on the owner's phone. It is built for Afghan shops: Dari and Pashto screens, bills printed in Dari, and prices in afghani, dollar and kaldar.

Who it is for

Mobile phone shops, supermarkets and groceries, pharmacies, clothing and shoe shops, electronics, spare parts, stationery and book shops, and wholesalers.

Selling

• Scan a barcode and the name and price fill in. The bill prints with your shop name on an 80 mm receipt printer or on A4.
• When a customer pays part, the rest is added to their credit automatically.
• Hold a sale while the customer fetches money and finish it later.
• Take items back; stock and accounts correct themselves.
• Separate retail, wholesale and dealer prices.

Mobile phones and electronics

• Every phone is recorded by IMEI or serial number: who you bought it from and who you sold it to.
• Type an IMEI to see the phone's full history.
• Take a customer's old phone in trade and deduct its value from the new one.
• One model in several colours and storage sizes, each with its own stock.

Stock and warehouses

• Products with price, photo, brand and category; import hundreds at once from Excel.
• Print barcode labels for items that have none.
• Buy rice by the bag and sell it by the seer and kilo; stock stays correct.
• Low-stock list, expired and near-expiry medicines and food, damaged stock, rack and shelf locations.
• Combo packs, several warehouses and transfers between them.

Customer credit and accounts

• Who owes you how much, and how much you owe each supplier. No more credit notebook.
• Full statement for every customer and supplier, payment receipts, and old balances entered on day one.
• Cash drawer, bank accounts and cheques, expenses (rent, power, salaries), other income and a day book.
• Buy in dollars, sell in afghani; you set the exchange rate.
• Full double-entry accounting for your accountant: balance sheet, trial balance and journal vouchers.

Partners and staff

• Each partner's capital and profit shared by their share; shop assets and liabilities.
• Permissions per employee: the cashier sees sales, only you see profit. Every sale is recorded with the employee's name.
• Attendance, morning and evening shifts, leave and monthly salaries.

Reports

Daily report (sales, expenses, new credit, cash and profit) every evening with one button; profit per bill and per customer; top customers and suppliers; sales, purchase, stock and stock-movement reports; customer and supplier ledgers. Every report exports to Excel or PDF.

Branches, offline work and online orders

Run several shops from one place. If the internet goes down, the shop computer keeps selling; when the connection returns, sales and products go to the online server by themselves. Add an online store where customers order from their phones (see Nova Wholesale POS & Online Store).
